Halloween Week on Strictly Come Dancing

Strictly Come Dancing’s Halloween Week brought out the spooky and spectacular in the 10 remaining couples as they performed their dance routines in elaborate costumes. From witches to swans and even Severus Snape, the dancers went all out to entertain the audience.

Taking the top spot on the leaderboard this week were Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola, who scored an impressive 38 points for their Salsa to “Murder on the Dancefloor” by Sophie Ellis-Bextor. Judge Motsi Mabuse described it as “the dance of the night, no playing around”, praising their energy and performance.

Close behind them were Layton Williams and Nikita Kuzmin, who scored 36 points for their Tango to “Vampire” by Olivia Rodrigo. Judge Shirley Ballas commended Williams for being “laser-focused” and an “exceptional dancer”.

However, not all couples had a successful night. Zara McDermott and Graziano Di Prima received the lowest score of the evening with 25 points for their Charleston to “Jeepers Creepers” by Al Donahue & His Orchestra. Judge Craig Revel Horwood criticized their performance, calling it “a bit by-numbers” and lacking energy and power.

– Nigel Harman and Katya Jones: 8 + 7 + 7 + 8 = 30
– Annabel Croft and Johannes Radebe: 7 + 7 + 7 + 8 = 29
– Krishnan Guru-Murthy and Lauren Oakley: 6 + 7 + 6 + 8 = 27
– Zara McDermott and Graziano Di Prima: 6 + 6 + 6 + 7 = 25

The results show for Strictly Come Dancing will air on Sunday, October 29 on BBC One.
