Record-Breaking Cat Shatters Decibel Limits with Thunderous Purr

Record-Breaking Cat Shatters Decibel Limits with Thunderous Purr

Bella, a 14-year-old mixed-breed cat, has recently set a new Guinness World Record for the loudest purr by a domestic cat. Her purr measured in at 54.49 decibels, equivalent to the sound of a tea kettle boiling or a standard washing machine. Bella’s owner, Nicole Spink, is not surprised by this achievement as friends and family have always noticed Bella’s loud purr. Despite Bella’s stubborn nature, she performed well during the official record attempt. The record-breaking purr was recorded by a sound engineer and approved by Guinness World Records’ official adjudicator. Spink is excited to share the news with her kids, who have always been proud of Bella’s loud purr.
