Sahyadri Farms, a Farmer Producer Company (FPC) in horticulture, has achieved a turnover of ₹1,007 crore in the fiscal year 2022-23, marking a 28% growth compared to the previous year. The company has promoted 48 farmer producer companies engaged in specific horticulture crops or zones, and has processed and exported approximately 275,327 metric tonnes of produce. This growth has led to the creation of around 1,300 full-time jobs and 4,000 seasonal jobs.
