Hospitality: Minor Hotels Leverage Oracle Cloud PMS for Unparalleled Operational Efficiency and Unforgettable Guest Experiences

Minor Hotels is upgrading 100 of its properties to Oracle OPERA Hospitality Cloud, starting with its flagship luxury hotel, the Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel. This move to the cloud will allow Minor Hotels to improve efficiency, unify guest profiles, and better understand guest preferences across its global properties.

By implementing OPERA Cloud Property Management System (PMS), Minor Hotels will be able to consolidate data into a common platform, manage revenue across different countries and currencies, and optimize operations with real-time analytics and reporting. This will enable the hotel chain to provide a personalized and extraordinary experience to its guests, regardless of their location.

In addition to the PMS, Minor Hotels already uses Oracle MICROS Simphony Cloud Point-of-Sale (POS) solution in select hotel restaurants and bars. The integration of these solutions will further enhance the hotel chain’s ability to streamline operations and provide a seamless guest experience.

Minor Hotels will also utilize OPERA Cloud Sales and Event Management, which will optimize space and opportunities for events and celebrations. This solution can be accessed via mobile devices, allowing team members to easily manage bookings, perform inventory checks, and make changes anytime and anywhere.

By leveraging the Oracle Hospitality Integration Platform, Minor Hotels can further customize its operations by integrating new third-party capabilities based on the unique needs of its properties.

Dillip Rajakarier, Group CEO of Minor International and CEO of Minor Hotels, emphasized the need for a better way to manage financial processes and the guest experience across locations due to the hotel chain’s growth in global markets. Rajakarier expressed confidence in Oracle’s cloud solutions and their ability to support Minor Hotels’ expansion plans.
