Gazans Urged to Swiftly Evacuate as Israel Hints at Impending Offensive

The Israeli military has urged Gaza City residents to evacuate before an expected ground offensive begins, designating a safe passage window between 10 am and 4 pm. Israel has designated two safe routes for over one million residents of northern Gaza to leave for the south. Thousands of Gazans have already packed buses, cars, and donkey carts to escape the northern zone. Meanwhile, the World Health Organization (WHO) has flown enough basic supplies to an Egyptian airport near Gaza to serve around 300,000 people. However, these supplies can only be delivered once humanitarian access is established through the Rafah crossing from Egypt into the southern Gaza Strip. The WHO’s supplies include medicines to treat wounded patients and those suffering from various health conditions. Every hour that these supplies remain on the Egyptian side of the border, vulnerable individuals are at risk of dying while the supplies they need are just 20 kilometers away.
