More than 100 Manx brownies attended STEMFest, an event aimed at inspiring girls to pursue careers in science and technology. The event, supported by a local bank, showcased various STEM industries and featured talks from experts in the police and finance sectors. The girls participated in activities such as investigating a staged crime scheme using fingerprint analysis, trying out virtual reality technology, and learning how to code. The event aimed to address the underrepresentation of women in STEM fields and provide role models for girls as they continue their education and enter the workforce.
