Revolutionary Partnership Boosts Global Digital Farm’s Tech Prowess, Unprecedented Capabilities

The partnership between Charles Sturt University’s AgriPark, Global Digital Farm, and Food Agility with Pairtree Intelligence is set to improve the tech capabilities of the Global Digital Farm, offering a more seamless agtech experience for researchers, students, and the wider agriculture industry.

In an exciting collaboration, Charles Sturt University’s AgriPark, Global Digital Farm, and partner organization Food Agility have joined forces with Pairtree Intelligence to enhance the tech capabilities of the Global Digital Farm. This partnership will be showcased at the Digital Agrifood Summit in Wagga Wagga on October 11th and 12th.

The aim of this collaboration is to provide a single point of access for the multiple tech systems used across the farm. A new platform has been created to house all the different data points and systems, including data feeds such as weather and market information. This platform also enables the exporting of integrated data sets for analytical purposes.

This new capability means that the Global Digital Farm will offer a more seamless agtech experience for Charles Sturt researchers and students. It will streamline the process of accessing and analyzing data, making it easier to draw insights and make informed decisions.

The success of this platform has led to the development of a second customized dashboard, which will provide even more accessibility of the Global Digital Farm to industry and the public. This will allow a wider range of stakeholders to benefit from the data and insights generated by the farm.

Pairtree Intelligence, founded by fifth-generation farmer and CEO Mr. Hamish Munro, aims to help farmers and the wider agriculture industry maximize the benefits of using new technologies. The company turns farm data into insights that drive efficiencies and improve decision-making support and confidence.

Mr. Munro highlights the importance of centralizing and making sense of incompatible on-farm data from various digital devices and services. Pairtree Intelligence provides a solution by creating a centralized space where previously incompatible data sets can be used together for the first time. This functionality empowers farmers to make better decisions for their livestock, grain, wool, and other aspects of their farm operations.

The new Pairtree technology was recently showcased at the Henty Machinery Field Days and will be featured at the upcoming Digital Agrifood Summit. This event provides an opportunity for industry professionals, researchers, and the public to learn more about the innovative solutions being developed in the agriculture sector.

Overall, the partnership between Charles Sturt University’s AgriPark, Global Digital Farm, Food Agility, and Pairtree Intelligence is set to revolutionize the way data is collected, analyzed, and utilized in the agriculture industry. By providing a single point of access and integrating multiple tech systems, this collaboration will enhance the agtech experience for researchers, students, and farmers alike.
