Angela Scanlon’s Unforgettable Charleston Performance for Strictly Come Dancing’s Movie Week Leaves Viewers Awestruck

Angela Scanlon, along with her professional partner Carlos Gu, will be taking on the Charleston for Strictly Come Dancing’s movie-themed show this weekend. They will be performing to the track “Who’s Got The Pain” from the 1958 rom-com Damn Yankees.

In her previous performance, Scanlon delivered a lively jive to Trouble by Shampoo, impressing the judges and scoring 29 points. Head judge Shirley Ballas was particularly “in awe” of Scanlon’s leg positions.

Scanlon has been working hard to recover from the busy weekend, using stretching techniques and wearing an LED face mask. She shared a clip on Instagram, expressing her excitement for the new dance and asking for well wishes for her blistered feet and achy bones.

In week two of the competition, musical theatre star Layton Williams and professional dancer Nikita Kuzmin took the top spot with their quickstep to Puttin’ On The Ritz, earning a score of 36 out of 40. Unfortunately, former Family Fortunes host Les Dennis was the first celebrity to be eliminated after landing at the bottom of the leaderboard with his samba to Rock The Boat.

The upcoming movie-themed show will surely bring more excitement and entertainment to Strictly Come Dancing fans. Stay tuned to see how Angela Scanlon and Carlos Gu tackle the Charleston and continue to impress the judges and viewers alike.
